Home & Ranch Improvements is proudly led by Josh Kramer, who founded the company in 1998.

Josh grew up in Fredericksburg and graduated from
Fredericksburg High School. While searching for his
next step, he realized he had an affinity for fencing
and demolition work that allowed him to use the skills he acquired during his summer jobs.

Because of this, he knew he also had the passion and work ethic needed to build a lasting business in the Hill Country.

From day one, the vision was clear:

Home & Ranch Improvements is proudly led by Josh Kramer, who founded the company in 1998. Together, his sons Jacob and Josh Jr. — along with a dedicated team that shares his values — deliver reliable fencing and land-clearing work across the Hill Country.

Today, Home & Ranch Improvements is a family affair. Josh manages the hands-on, day-to-day operations and project design while his wife, Jessica, runs the office and administrative side of things.

Additionally, many of HRI’s employees are Fredericksburg born and raised, starting with the company the day it opened its doors. Their experience and commitment ensure quality work and satisfied customers every time.
